How do you play a Basic Tournament?

A Basic Tournament has a fixed number of contestants, ranging from a minimum of two to a maximum of four. The Basic Tournament closes as soon as all the slots for playing are filled. One single player can take part several times in a Basic Tournament. However, the minimum number of players that needed to take part in a Basic Tournament is two. A player will therefore always compete with someone else, even if he or she takes part in the same Basic Tournament several times. The number of participants and the stake money for each Basic Tournament vary.

You start a Basic Tournament by going to the selection screen of the game in question and clicking the Basic Tournament of your choice under the heading BASIC TOURNAMENTS. It is entirely up to you how much you wish to stake (minimum of £0,50; maximum of £3) by clicking a certain Basic Tournament. During a Basic Tournament you can only compete with players within your own ranking level.

The game starts as soon as the required number of players have joined in. If, for example, the number of players is set to four in a Basic Tournament, then the game begins as soon as the fourth player has joined the game.
